From May 2017, the successful “BIM Professional” certification courses will also be on offer at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) for the first time. After the Ruhr University Bochum, the illustrious TUM is the second such institution in Germany to include a “BIM Professional” certification course on its curriculum.
HOCHTIEF ViCon developed the program in conjunction with the Ruhr University Bochum, the TUM School of Management, and the Leonhard Obermeyer Center. It is geared to engineers and architects involved in all areas of building and infrastructure construction.
The TUM certificate course is being offered in two-week modules. It provides state-of-the-art methods and tools for effective project-handling with BIM in the areas of technology, processes, people and guidelines. The practical applications of BIM are extensively covered thanks to interactive dialog with Germany’s BIM experts who act as lecturers on the course. On successfully passing the final examination, participants are awarded the TUM School of Management’s “BIM Professional” certificate, attesting to their competence in the various areas of building information modeling.
The participating partners ensure training of a high quality. The TUM numbers among Europe’s best universities and is best known for its outstanding achievements in the areas of research and teaching, multidisciplinarity, and fostering talent.
As Germany’s most experienced BIM consultant, HOCHTIEF ViCon shares the practical knowledge and implementation expertise it has gathered on over 450 BIM projects worldwide.
