Application process

We treat our applicants transparently and on equal terms. We therefore show you what our application process classically involves—this means that even before you send your documents, you already know what awaits you in the next step and can optimally prepare yourself.

1. Job search and online application

   Have you found a suitable job amongst our job opportunities? If you have, apply online via our career portal. If you have already posted your data on XING, you can simply take these over.

2. Confirmation of receipt

   As soon as we have received your application, you will receive an automatic confirmation. Then, it’s up to us: We check your documents and see if other advertised jobs could also fit your profile. We contact you as soon as possible regarding the next steps.

3. Exploratory meeting

   We found your application interesting, and would like to get to know you! A first exploratory meeting will be conducted either personally, on the phone or by online chat. We invite our future trainees to a selection day.

4. Additional job interviews

   In the first interview, you convinced us of your qualities and you can also envisage becoming part of HOCHTIEF. Depending on the type of job, we will invite you to further interviews where we can learn even more about each other and we can clarify any questions you may still have.

5. Contract offer

   You suit us and we suit you. We would therefore like to employ you and send you a contract offer. If you should have any questions regarding the contract or further procedure, you are welcome to contact us.

6. Signing of the contract

   We have clarified all remaining questions and you have signed our contract offer. Now there is just one thing left for you to do: look forward to starting work at HOCHTIEF. Until then we will remain in touch and at your disposal for any queries.
