Exhibition Center Tower in Frankfurt/Main
With its striking architecture and a height of 256.5 meters, the “Messeturm” in Frankfurt am Main is a real landmark building. Until 1996, it was even the tallest skyscraper in Europe. Its construction was a real challenge because the downtown area of Frankfurt was so densely built-up, the construction site had to fit in an area the size of two tennis courts. Only by using smart logistics was HOCHTIEF able to complete the project in the prescribed period of just three years. Time is money, particularly in a banking metropolis like Frankfurt: the first tenants moved in while construction was still going on above.
