The Solaire in New York City
When it first opened in 2003, The Solaire in New York City became the very first "green" residential project ever built in the United States. The project realized by HOCHTIEF subsidiary Turner et the standards for sustainable residential construction in the USA: All of the apartment units in the Solaire complex stand out by virtue of their environmentally friendly and high-quality design. A photovoltaic system and the computer-controlled building services system provide for first-class energy balance. The Solaire was awarded the gold version of the LEED certificate.
