Chopin Airport, Warsaw, Poland
HOCHTIEF already expanded Warsaw Airport in 1990. Back then, as general contractor HOCHTIEF had to be capable of organizing private financing before the turnaround. Since then, HOCHTIEF has been commissioned several times to expand the Polish capital’s airport. For instance, from 2012 to 2015 with the expansion of Zone 1 of Terminal A. For this the project was awarded with the Construction of the Year Award of the Polish Association of Engineers and Technicians (PziTB) in 2015.
Currently, HOCHTIEF Polska is upgrading the baggage processing to the latest standard.
