“Lister Dreieck”, Hanover, Germany
“Impressive and well made”, enthused Deutsche Bahn. “The building is fantastic”, said Lower Saxony’s prime minister Stephan Weil during the inauguration of the Lister Dreieck in 2019. On the site of the former bus station, HOCHTIEF has realized a 9-story office building for German railway. The building, with its elegantly curved architecture and its red clinker facade was designed based on Hanover’s red brick expressionism of the 1920s. An inflated membrane cushion, which brings light and air into the building, is spanned across the foyer and atrium.
