Olympic Stadium Munich, Germany

Sky tent: Lightness and openness are symbolized by the transparent, seemingly floating tent roof, which spans not only the stadium but also the Olympic Hall, the Olympic Swimming Hall and the paths in between. The 1972 Summer Olympics took place under the tent roof for which we were responsible, as did the finals of the 1974 World Cup and the 1988 European Soccer Championships. Today, rock stars such as the Rolling Stones and Coldplay use it for their performances.
