At today’s CDP Climate Conference Ceremony 2016 at Munich Airport construction group HOCHTIEF will be recognized yet again with another award—receiving once more the status of “Sector Leader Industrials”. The award, presented by the not-for-profit organization CDP, honors HOCHTIEF’s contribution to climate protection and the reduction of emissions. HOCHTIEF is commended for its exceptional levels of transparency in dealing with environmental issues.
Says Nikolaus Graf von Matuschka, Member of the Executive Board of HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft: “The professional teamwork in the advancement of sustainability criteria in our company has once again been instrumental in our success this year. HOCHTIEF is well positioned, particularly in the Green Buildings and Green Infrastructure segments. In addition, we have introduced numerous measures and controls throughout the group to reduce our carbon footprint. “Sustainable management” has a long tradition at HOCHTIEF. In 2015 consolidated sales in the Green Building market segment alone totaled more than seven billion euros.
"HOCHTIEF AG has been awarded a “B“ rating in the 2016 climate change report, achieving the status of ‘Sector Leader Industrials‘ in the DACH region. This ranks HOCHTIEF AG among the top 13 percent of companies in this sector in Germany, Austria and Switzerland," says Susan Dreyer, Director DACH Region, CDP.
