The Ark in Sydney

In the spring of 2010, Australian HOCHTIEF subsidiary Leighton completed a new landmark for Northern Sydney's skyline: The Ark, a 21-story office building with numerous sustainable systems. The building is one of the first to be fitted with a trigeneration system, with power, heat and cooling all generated simultaneously from a single energy source. The building is also fitted with a graywater recycling system and charging stations for electric and hybrid cars. The Ark was awarded a six-star Green Star rating by the Green Building Council of Australia.
