Turner Construction Company, in collaboration with Sea Breeze Properties and Safdie Rabines Architects, marked a significant milestone with the topping off of 222 North City, a transformative mixed-use development set to redefine urban living in North San Diego County.
The ceremony brought together over 600 attendees to celebrate this major milestone, including City officials, project partners, and community members. San Marcos Mayor Rebecca Jones delivered inspiring remarks, highlighting the development’s role in shaping the city’s future and providing much-needed housing and retail opportunities. This momentous occasion underscored the community’s enthusiasm for the continued growth and transformation of North City into a vibrant urban hub.
Part of the visionary North City master-planned community, 222 North City is poised to deliver 460 much-needed residential units and premium retail spaces to San Marcos. Scheduled for completion in late 2025, the $345 million development includes two 12-story towers offering expansive views of the San Marcos ridgeline, Palomar Mountain, and the Pacific Ocean. Designed by Safdie Rabines Architects, the project emphasizes resident wellness, social connection, and sustainability.
